It examines financing from public, private, and donor sources. The Albanian political parties covered in the report include the Socialist Party, the Democratic Party, and the Freedom Party. The report also analyses four case studies of political party partner organisations in the EU countries, exploring their financing practices.

The report concludes by offering a set of practical recommendations for legal changes to improve financing access for underrepresented groups, women and youth, within these political parties. These recommendations aim to tackle the barriers faced by women’s and youth, promoting a more inclusive and fairer political environment.
