Marietou Dieng

Marietou Dieng is of Senegalese origin. She is the 5th national vice-president and member of the National Secretariat of the Reew Mi Party.
She is a biologist and a politician and was the winner of the Women Leadership WLP-ALN 2022 special recognition award.
Marietou Dieng is the outgoing MP of the 14th legislature in Senegal and a candidate for the 2024 legislative elections.
Marietou Dieng has held positions such as:
- Vice-president of the Health, Population and Social Affairs Committee.
- Member of the Executive Committee of the League of Parliamentarians Al Quds and for Palestine.
- Designated parliamentary champion for the fight against malaria by the anti-malaria programme: 'Zero Malaria, I am committed'.
- President of the Senegalese Network of Parliamentarians for the fight against illicit financial flows (REPFI/APNIFFT).
- Vice-President West Africa of the League of Parliamentarians on Illicit Financial Flows and Taxation (APNIFFT).
- Second vice-president, Network of Parliamentarians for the Promotion of Health and Palliative Care in Senegal.
- Communications manager for the Diaspora Parliamentarians network.
Marietou is carrying out a parliamentary and citizen project that she wishes to be regional on the theme: Civics and Citizenship for an Emerging and Resilient Africa. She hopes that the ALN and WLP can help with the effective implementation
