Karabo Khakhau, is a second term South African National Assembly MP. She is the National Spokesperson of the Democratic Alliance (RSA's second largest political party).
Karabo was first elected as a public representative at the age of 21 after the 2019 NPE elections where she served as the youngest Member of the Provincial Legislature (MPL) in the history of RSA politics. She took up this seat in the Free State Legislature where she served on the Portfolio Committee on Infrastructure Development until November 2022. Thereafter, she took her oath to serve in the South African Parliament where she continues to serve in the Portfolio Committee on Higher Education and Training.
Karabo holds a graduate certificate in Advanced Governance and Public Leadership from the University of the Witwatersrand's School of Governance and is pursuing a postgraduate qualification in the same field.
