Hannah studied Political Science and Philosophy at university, completing an honours degree in Politics. She says she “has always felt a deep need to contribute to humanitarian causes which spurred me to get involved in outreach at university. [My] ambition has always been to stand as a public servant - to be involved in finding solutions to South Africa's numerous challenges whilst using the platform given to me to assist as many people as possible.”
To this end, she joined the Democratic Alliance (DA) and acted in various roles, including research, media, operations and management before being elected as a Member of Parliament in 2019.
