Dhouha is the Secretary General of the Youth Institute in her party, Afek Tounes, in Tunisia, and an organising team member for Forum Jeunes (Youth Forum) supported by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation. In 2019, Dhouha was a candidate in the legislative elections in Tunisia, running as 4th on the list.
Dhouha represented the Tunisian Youth in the NIMD Jordan School of Politics’ training on improving countries’ youth groups. She participated in the “Med Dialogue for Rights and Equality 2030”, where she worked in a team to develop a manifesto to present in front of the United Nations. She was chosen to represent her party at the Liberal International Congress in Dakar in 2018, and has been selected by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for a training course in the International Academy for Leadership in Germany.
As a qualified trainer of communication, entrepreneurship and employability for the American organisation WeYouth, Dhouha runs training sessions on effective strategies for young people to use when searching for employment or establishing their own businesses.
Dhouha advocates for women’s empowerment and encourages women in her city to be more actively involved in their community. Recently, she has participated in the “Generation a Avenir” programme, aimed at combatting sexual harassment.
She is a graduate of the Tunisian School of Politics.
