Desie is currently serving her third term in the People’s Representative Council (DPRD) of Jakarta. She previously chaired the Democratic Party caucus in DPRD Jakarta (2019–2024). Desie earned her degrees in Accounting from Universitas Trisakti and in Political Communications from Universitas Jayabaya.
