Anne McLaughlin MP

Anne McLaughlin has worked in a variety of African and Asian countries including The Gambia, Malawi, Myanmar and Nepal to support their democratic development and also has a keen interest in Sri Lanka having lived and worked there for a short time. She is the SNP Member of Parliament for Glasgow North East and in September 2023 was appointed as her party’s spokesperson at Westminster on International Development. Before being elected for the second time to Westminster in 2019 Anne developed and delivered training sessions at home and overseas to demystify the democratic process, something she is passionately committed to.
