Dr. Caygill will be joined by Stephen Imrie of the Scottish Parliament and Dr. Maria Mousmouti of the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, University of London, to share insights from the eleven PLS inquiries conducted by the Scottish Parliament, focusing on how PLS has strengthened parliamentary oversight and highlighted areas for improvement.

This webinar will also explore practical questions around PLS, including how to find the necessary human resources to support these in-depth reviews, ways to ensure that committee findings and recommendations effectively shape government policy, and the lessons learned from assigning PLS responsibilities to different parliamentary committees.
