During a time when elections around the world face an evolving and increasingly complex set of threats and challenges, sustained cooperation among global electoral integrity stakeholders is urgently needed. On 21 March, over 30 leading global organizations and networks in the electoral integrity community will come together to launch the GNSEI.

Join over 30 leading global organizations and networks in the electoral integrity community for the virtual launch of the Global Network for Securing Electoral Integrity (GNSEI) on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 8:00 AM EST - 9:30 AM EST.

During a time when elections around the world face an evolving and increasingly complex set of threats and challenges, sustained cooperation among global electoral integrity stakeholders is urgently needed.

GNSEI has formed to address this challenge. GNSEI brings together leading international electoral integrity actors to establish a broad-based platform to closely cooperate on developing, advancing, and promoting adherence to norms and guiding principles that address emerging and long-term threats to electoral integrity. The Network will be a standing forum for communities of election observers, election management bodies, international development agencies, intergovernmental organizations, and civil society to share information and innovative and effective practices and to coordinate on ways to promote electoral integrity.

This event will be moderated by internationally-renowned journalist Ali Aslan and will be translated into Spanish, French, and Arabic. If you require a reasonable accommodation, please contact reasonableaccommodations@usaid.gov

The event will include panels on safeguarding the independence of election management bodies and genuine and inclusive public debate around electoral reforms.
